What does Raindrop.io do better than KEEP?

Raindrop.io is a mature library tool. Its listing mentions full-text search across saved pages and PDFs, a copy that survives a deleted page, team permissions, extensions for popular browsers and more than 2,600 integrations. It runs on Android, Mac and Windows as well as iPhone. KEEP is iPhone-only and stores items under a device ID, so it is a poor fit for a shared research library.

What does KEEP do better than Raindrop.io?

KEEP is about the next step. You choose a reason when you save. Today and Do show what is doable in 5, 15 or 30 minutes, and the challenge asks you to finish seven saves in a week. It can read text from screenshots you pick and group them by place or recipe. Raindrop.io does not describe plans or a done count.

How do the prices compare?

Raindrop.io lists Pro at $2.99 a month or $27.99 a year in the US store. KEEP is free in its current version; the Pro paywall offers an annual plan with a 3-day free trial and a monthly plan, but purchases are not active yet. Details on KEEP pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Is KEEP a bookmark manager?

Not in the usual sense. You can save links, but KEEP organizes by reason and by what you can do today, not by folders and tags.

Does KEEP sync across devices?

KEEP has no account, and items belong to a device ID, so they may not open on another device. Raindrop.io has apps for several platforms.

Which one is cheaper?

Both are free to download. Raindrop.io Pro is $2.99 a month or $27.99 a year in the US store. KEEP is free for now.

Can KEEP save PDFs like Raindrop.io?

KEEP takes links, notes, screenshots and photos. PDFs are not among the item types the app describes.

Which has better privacy?

They work differently. KEEP states no ads and no tracking and needs no account, but stores items on its server. Read each privacy policy.
